Social Media Usage
You're very welcome to share my photographs across social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook. I kindly ask that the following conditions are followed whenever my images are shared.
Photographer Credit & Tagging
· Charlotte Boswell Photography (@charlotteboswellphotography) must be clearly credited and tagged on all social media posts and stories featuring my photographs.
· For social media posts, my account must be tagged directly on the photographs themselves and credited within the written caption. Both forms of credit are required.
· For social media stories, my account must be visibly tagged on the story itself. Tags must be clearly readable and must not be hidden, minimised, covered by stickers, placed off-screen or blended into the background.
· These crediting requirements apply whenever my photographs are shared on social media, including carousel posts, reels, stories and reshares.
Image Editing & Alterations
Photographs must not be edited, cropped, filtered, retouched or altered in any way.
This includes changes to colours, exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, applying presets, adding effects or making any other adjustments.
All photographs must be shared exactly as supplied by Charlotte Boswell Photography, preserving their original composition, colours and editing style.
Images should always be downloaded and shared in full resolution. Screenshots should not be used.
Social media permission applies solely to social media usage and does not extend to websites, advertising, printed materials or other promotional purposes unless separately agreed in writing.
Commercial / Printed Usage
Any commercial, advertising, editorial, printed, brochure, publication or third-party promotional usage must be discussed and approved in writing before publication or distribution.
Commercial and printed usage is licensed separately, and pricing will vary depending on the nature, scale and scope of the intended usage.
Any commercial, printed, publication or third-party promotional usage may also require consent from the couple involved, depending on the nature of the intended usage.
Permission to share photographs on social media does not automatically grant permission for commercial or printed use.
Website Usage
Website usage must be discussed and approved in writing in advance.
Permission for use on one website, platform or marketing channel does not automatically extend to:
Third-party websites
Supplier directories
Venue listings
Blogs
Tourism websites
Publications
External marketing platforms
Any additional promotional distribution
Any third-party, commercial or promotional website usage must be separately discussed and approved in writing before publication.
All approved website usage must include:
Clear and visible credit to Charlotte Boswell Photography
A visible, clickable backlink to www.charlotteboswellphotography.co.uk
Where images are used online without agreed credit or backlinking, or without prior approval, a separate retrospective commercial usage fee may apply.
Copyright
All photographs remain the copyright of Charlotte Boswell Photography at all times, in accordance with UK copyright law, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No transfer of copyright is granted through image sharing permission, social media usage or licensing agreements.
Permission to share or use photographs does not grant permission to edit, crop, filter, retouch or otherwise alter the images in any way.
Failure to comply with these Image Use Terms & Conditions may result in permission to use the photographs being withdrawn, a request for the images to be removed, and/or an invoice being issued for unauthorised usage.
